Broadway heads into the 2026-27 season with a remarkably varied lineup. Such major stars as Billy Crystal, Allison Janney, Neil Patrick-Harris, Julia Roberts and others will return to the stage. Classic musicals (from Evita to The Fantasticks) will receive new productions. Acclaimed plays will make Broadway debuts. Meanwhile, several ambitious new musicals hope to become the season’s breakout hits.

Odets, Shakespeare and Molière share the season with Prince, Dolly Parton and Rodgers and Hammerstein. New musicals sit alongside major revivals. Contemporary plays tackle difficult subjects. In addition, Now You See Me Live, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play and Blue Man Group add theatrical spectacle to the holiday season.

Here is StageZine’s month-by-month look at some of the major productions arriving on Broadway from now through spring 2027. More productions may still join the calendar. However, Broadway already gives theatergoers plenty to anticipate in the coming months.
