<p><b><i>New York, NY</i> (May 26, 2021)</b> – CBS and Tony Award Productions will celebrate Broadway’s highly anticipated return of live theatre with a multi-platform event, THE TONY AWARDS® PRESENT: BROADWAY’S BACK! on Sunday, September 26 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+ and the CBS app.</p>

<p>The evening will kick-off with the presentation of the American Theatre Wing’s 74<sup>th</sup> Annual <a href="https://www.tonyawards.com/nominees/">Tony Awards®</a> at 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT live exclusively on Paramount+.  The streaming presentation will honor the outstanding shows, performances and artistry of the 2019-2020 Broadway season, which was brought to a halt by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing.</p>

<p>Immediately following, THE TONY AWARDS PRESENT: BROADWAY’S BACK! will air on the Network, bringing the excitement of Broadway to viewers through a live concert event, featuring superstar Broadway entertainers and Tony Award winners re-uniting on stage to perform beloved classics and celebrate the joy and magic of live theatre. The re-opening of Broadway will be further celebrated with special performances from the three Tony nominated Best Musical contenders, followed by the live presentation of three Tony Awards, including Best Play, Best Revival of a Play and Best Musical. Other winners will be celebrated throughout the broadcast.</p>

<p><strong>New York, NY (<em>April 30, 2019</em>)</strong> – Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing’s 73<sup>rd</sup> Annual Antoinette Perry “Tony” Awards® were announced today by Tony Award-winning actress <strong>Bebe Neuwirth, </strong>Tony-nominated actor <strong>Brandon Victor Dixon </strong>and CBS This Morning co-host <strong>Gayle King</strong>, at the Tony Award Nominations ceremony, held at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The nominees were selected by an independent committee of 42 theatre professionals appointed by the Tony Awards Administration Committee. The 2019 Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.  (The list of nominations follows.)</p>
<p>Marking 73 years of excellence on Broadway, <strong>The Tony Awards</strong>, hosted by <strong>James Corden</strong>, will be broadcast live from the Radio City Music Hall on <strong>CBS, on Sunday, June 9<sup>th</sup>, 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay). </strong></p>
<p>Legitimate theatrical productions opening in any of the 41 eligible Broadway theatres during the current season may be considered for Tony nominations. The 2018/2019 eligibility season began April 27, 2018 and ended April 25, 2019. The Tony Awards will be voted in 26 competitive categories by 831 designated Tony voters within the theatre community.</p>
